Decisions

Things have been tough lately...lots of things on my mind. I started my Master's degree in August to realize that I absolutely hated those types of classes...business classes that is. I cried, screamed, and cried some more over the hardest Accounting class I think I could have taken...and finally decided that it was ok. I can quit...I have never been a quitter and didn't want to start now...but, I am proud of my decision. This has opened me up to truly examine where I am and where I am going.

For where I am...I am happily single and raising an amazing little boy! I love taking pictures and want to find more time for that! As for where I am going...an application is starting to be filled out as we speak. There is a program I will be applying to start next Fall (patience is a virture!) I will leave it a bit of a mystery for now...but I ask that you pray as I start the wheels turning and the balls rolling. God is good and I believe he has blessings in store for all of us!

I am getting caught up finally! This session was a couple weeks ago and was so much fun! I had a beautiful Mama that was about 38 weeks pregnant and still able to keep up with this beautiful 18-month old cutie! Little Leah was born on the 21st and I can not wait to meet her for her Newborn Session! Stay tuned for the pics!

Knock on Wood...

I have to take a moment to send out a special Thank You to my awesome Mama...she did something in a week that I have tried to do for two years! I went away last week to Banker's School and left my sweet boy at home with my parents...during that time, she changed up his schedule...so what, you say...my child is now sleeping through the night!!! Not only is he sleeping through the night...but his bedtime changed from 10 at the earliest to 9 on the dot!!! Not only is his bedtime at 9...but I do not have to rock him to sleep anymore...or go in and out of his room a hundred times!!!

I am on cloud nine! I can not believe that all it took was a week and we have had such a drastic change!!! This is huge for me. I have been getting up at least once a night, but usually twice or more Josh's whole life! I can not even drag my behind out of bed in the mornings because my body does not know how to react to sleep!

So...Mama, this one is for you! Thanks a million!

PS...I expect you to keep him another week and get him out of those diapers...OK??
